Last Saturday I picked up a copy of Mixmag (a magazine about clubbing and dance music). I used to get this magazine from time to time when I was living in Holland; as I used to be quite into the club scene at that time. Basically since I came to Hong Kong I have been quite out of the whole club scene. And from my impressions clubbing in Hong Kong is nowhere compared to where it is or at least has been in Holland/Europe. Anyway: As always the magazine comes with a free cd, this month it came with a mix of DJ Carl Cox. One of those names you will never forget when you have ever been into the club scene!
Playing the mix of Carl Cox brought back some great memories of all the times I went to the big events like the Loveparade, I love Techno, Sensation & of course the regular parties at places like the Fun Factory, the Mazzo and Trance Buddha.
I'll definitely be playing this disc a lot more, and hope that maybe during a next visit to Holland/Europe I will be able to combine it with a visit to one of those big dance events....
